tactical help. urgent

I recently opened a save with Man Utd and the team is not playing well at all. they rarely score any goals and concede WAY too many i really dont know what to do. i would be happy if someone would give me some recommendations. maybe chaning tactics, buying new players, etc.... (i am considering buying jesus navas or juan manuel mata)

I think i will play my fullbacks as support and move my wingers up with nani on the right as an inside forward and then buy someone on the left like hazard or mata

Too many players on attack orders.

Everyone runs away from the ball when you have possession so you don't have an outlet for your defence to pass to and then when you lose possession too many players are caught up front not getting back to defend.

Also, creative freedom and roaming isn't necessarily good. Both let your players ignore your tactical setup!

I am also curious about the easy tackling... or the tactic in general, really. What are you trying to achieve? What is the idea behind your tactic? Are you trying to be Harry "ok guys our tactic today is...you go out there and play football" Redknapp?

With Man U I always play 424, works a treat. Would have the full backs on support, one of the centre mids on defensive duties, the other on support playing as an advanced playmaker and the wingers and strikers all on attack.

Play with a normal defensive line, wide width and normal tempo.
