Walking the ball into the net?? I do??

Im playing as Stoke, one of the teams least likely to do this. Other managers keep telling me to tell my players to shoot rather than walk the ball into the net.

How can i do this?

Im already playing a direct game and am having a healthy number of shots. Must be a problem that needs addressing though.

I have had this before and even though my team did play quick passing attacking football which was nice on the eye I would never say that they tried to 'walk it into the net'............I assume it is just one of those phrases that comes out every now and then based on the stats for the game and enables the opposition manager to try to play some mind games.

I got this after a friendly in which I won 9-0....

I get this sometimes too, even when I have had 25+ shots on target. Though to be fair I only seem to win 2-nil. Maybe they have a point

I think it just translates as: "I don't like you."

I reckon the opposing manager thinks your team are a bunch of show-offs. Trying to score the perfect goal everytime, much like recent Arsenal IRL. Lots of attempts but very little outcome? Who knows...

I've seen this a few times, usually just after I have hammered a very good team. The other manager is just jealous that your team is able to do this.

If you are getting results, ignore the messages as they are just mind games. If you are not getting results, try getting your players to take more long shots.
