pigfacemonkeyman
Does it keep directing to that annoying SEGA message? Have you tried setting the main Forum page as a favourite?
dazbowski
Does it keep directing to that annoying SEGA message?Have you tried setting the main Forum page as a favourite? Yes it does, not done that yet. I'll give it a try.
dazbowski
Just tried that, and it still goes straight to that page. I would imagine that loads of people who only use IE will still not know that the site is back working again.
Sikker
IE8 works fine. But damn, Ive had almost forgotten how slow IE is. Nothing but waiting and commercials everywhere. Back to good ol' FF.
pigfacemonkeyman
I was one of them, I somehow managed to get to the main forum page and set it to replace the favourite that kept sending me to SEGA and I think I have IE9, but I'm a computer dud so unfortunately can't help much. Edit I do have IE9
SCIAG
Clear your cache. You should be able to Google how to do it.
Dune297
No clue why you are still using IE. Chrome and Firefox are both marginally faster. I recommend you get Chrome, beats Firefox and crushes IE as far as speed.
robertcornell68
Clear your cache. You should be able to Google how to do it. This worked for me - I had the same problem but with Firefox.

Not trying to pick at grammar, but we want everyone to know how much "Chrome beats Firefox and crushes IE," not mistakenly thinking they are similar. Keyzer Soze
The solution, on IE or firefox, is clear the cache.

Not trying to pick at grammar, but we want everyone to know how much "Chrome beats Firefox and crushes IE," not mistakenly thinking they are similar. Well, to be honest, they are roughly similar at the moment...http://download.cnet.com/8301-2007_4-20047314-12.html Of course, it depends on what benchmark you use, but it is not like Chrome is miles ahead of IE9 or Firefox 4 - it's not. I know IE gets a lot of negative stigma and sneering because of IE6, but Microsoft are making strides in this area, which is now even more competitive than ever - a very good thing to have. Opera is probably the fastest but by far the least compatible in terms of rendering. Chrome is probably next-fastest, followed by Firefox 4 then IE9. But each has its own advantages and disadvantages - pace isn't everything.
TheGulls
I have found Chrome to be the fastest followed by Firefox 5, I don't bother with IE anymore.
