Spain used a custom and very attacking 4-3-3: Northern Ireland is however qualified for the world cup in 2022, winning a qualification group with England, Serbia, Slovenia, Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, drawing three matches (away against Bulgaria, Slovenia and Serbia) winning the rest.
