Place a bet: Will little San Fernando C.F make it?

I edited San Fernando C.D with FMRTE. Gave them £20m and a sugar daddy in january 2017. By the 20th they hadn't signed a single player and were hopelessly at the bottom of the league at 5 points, losing most games 3-0 or more. I added a manager, took over and replaced the whole squad and staff, waiting until after the squad registration window was over before retiring.

Will they make it? Will little San Fernando manage to beat the odds and stay in the league system?

Crap, I voted no but I meant yes.

They will finish 16th, have to go through the relegation playoff, but will stay up.

Only because my nearest local team, Loja CD are actually and coincidentally playing San Fernando in the Tercero promotion play-offs, for a spot in the Segunda B4 IRL.

I love occasionally doing stuff like this... setting up a game just to play about and have fun. There was a Spanish team in B2 at Christmas with 0 points and 4 goals so i gave them a fortune to see what happened. They went down and I forgot about them. About 6 years after (in game time) i remembered, looked back in the B1,2,3 and 4 and couldn't see them at all and figured they just didn't come back. Then i clicked on the Segunda table to see them fighting out for promotion. I stopped playing round about then anyway but it was funny to see.

I will post the league table again once I have finished this season, but in any case after the poll is over.

So far 10 down, 7 up!

The odds are bad but I bought them a good team, so they definitely can stay up if they get like 8-10 victories the last 12 games.

Why not make this save available as a challenge? I'm sure some would like to give it a go.

Well isn't that easy since all the work is already done? Any human manager should be able to get promoted straight to BBVA, the point is that this isn't so simple for the AI, apparently. I want to see how fast such a club can become a BBVA challenger when run by the AI.

It is my 7th season Las Palmas game anyways, so all the work is done in that club as well. I have fun developing players and letting kids win matches. Of course, if there is interest in continuing from 2017 in either the world's third largest and Europe's southernmost club, taking over San Fernando C.D or starting completely from scratch, sure I can upload the savegame.
