BluJugganaut Posted June 6, 2011 Share Posted June 6, 2011 I have a right-back who has been getting interest from another club, but he is a great prospect and I'm determined not to lose them. I reject every offer that comes through, partly because the offers are terrible. After every offer, the players agent would demand an improved contract. I accepted every time and offered a contract. He would find it acceptable each time, but before he could sign it the club would come in with another offer (exactly the same offer :confused:) and the agent would ask for another contract. The cycle kept repeating and now the player has requested a transfer because I've "failed to offer him a contract". I HAVE offered a contract but because this other club keeps making offers he isnt signing it even when he finds it acceptable. The agent keeps asking for another contract (with the same wages and bonuses) but he cant sign it because of the other club. Anyone else had this problem?
