16 year old with no history...new feature?

Some young lad just appeared in my scouting. He's 16 and has no club history whatsoever, and he's also bloody good. He has clubs from all over the lower divisions looking at him but I also think he'd make it at a higher club. He's a bit arrogant because he refused my contract offer out of hand. He wanted £1600 a week and key player at 16, but I don't think he was ever going to be that. I couldn't afford it anyway.

Is this a new feature? I've never seen a 16 year old just appear on the radar like that before. I can only imagine he is raw talent that never got picked up by any scouting networks.

In FM2010 I picked up a 16 year old Italian kid for Shrewsbury, never had a club before, now after 4 years we're playing in the Championship and he is listed as a club legend at 20!

I find this happens alot.. but no very often you get the suggested to you.. but there are plenty of youth players that have no history

sometimes they are also very very good.. some even have become very good PL players

I picked one up for my Newcastle Town team. He's scored 44 goals in 62 league games and at the end of the current season he's being transferred to Manchester United.

First one I've ever had my scouts turn up that is so good and unattached.
