The Football Manager Awards

As revealed in the last Football Manager Podcast, Sports Interactive and SEGA are proud to present the inaugural Football Manager Awards.

Whilst there are loads of awards for footballers each year, we don’t feel that managers get enough recognition so now is the chance, with the help of our friends at many fine publications, for you, the Football Manager community, to decided which managers should win a variety of awards for their performances over the past season.

For its first year, the awards are centred around the English and Scottish leagues. If the awards are a success this year (and we can’t think of a reason that they wouldn’t be) then next year we will expand them to take in European countries, with a long term aim for the Football Manager Awards (FMA’s) to be a global award for football managers everywhere.

The voting will start today at 12.30 today and will end on Sunday 5th June. There are 8 awards in total, with a new award and the nominations for that award becoming available at 10am and 5pm UK time each day - when an award goes live, we'll add a link to it on this thread.

Hmm

Why not Peter Reid? He's an absolute legend here at Home Park, sold his FA Cup Medal to help the club run, and payed for the heating bill. Did a sterling job with 2 hands tied behind his back with administration and a January Fire-Sale. I understand you think "ew Plymouth Argyle" but really, Reid deserves a crack at this for his hard-work and commitment because alot of managers would of walked out on that.

Why do you have to have an account with Facebook to vote?

I detest Facebook any other options of how to vote?

I agree it is convenient if you have a Facebook account or want one, could it not have been put on this site too?

i knew this would happen everyone saying there manager should be in the mix for this reason or that

Sigh.

I did point out a valid reason.. Fair play if Pride & Passion has no value in football these days.
