Porthos
So as usual, January rolls around, and I have to reject bids for the promising striker warming my bench. His agent tells me he wants a new contract. Fair enough, he's only on $3k a week. Agent wont listen to my attempts to only double his appearance fee, and instead wants it ten times as much. Contract negotiations stall. The player is immediately unhappy and wants an improvement on his contract. Why can I not inform him "Hey, I just offered you a new contract, and your agent rejected it on your behalf. Stop whining that you need a raise when I just offered you 30K a week."
