tom_numbers
Pretty much what it says in the title. I'm managing in England, and have been in the secondary European competition a few times, and I've noticed that the games aren't exclusively on a Thursday when you reach the knockout stage. I tend to play the first leg on a Thursday, then the second leg 5 days later on Tuesday. There is no league game in between, which usually means I end up with loads of games in hand in the league. Plus, it's a bit odd playing the same opponent twice in a row. Is this the new standard for Europe, or has my game just gone a bit mad?
