Georgedcc
Simple question really. I tried to install FM 2011 and apparently 'The product code you've entered has already been activated by an existing steam account'. Any ideas what to do? Thanks.
Wiitastic
it can be installed and played on 5 different computers, however only on 1 steam account. just install the game on the other 4 computers without using steam, so when the other computers want to run the game, it would need to use the cd. Urm not as far as I'm aware, maybe for FM09 perhaps? One CD, one licence, one computer or one Steam account.
Wiitastic
but what if you log onto your steam account onto another computer ? can you not then go to the games in that account and click PLAY on FM11 ?

I don't think you can be logged into Steam on two PCs at least not if they are online.

This was only in previous versions and not FM 11- you need either to be linked into your Steam account or to have the DVD to play the game.

As long as you log into the Steam account you registered FM2011 to you can play it on any computer you can install Steam onto, or if you have the boxed version any computer that has a DVD drive provided you have the game DVD with you. The only limit is that you are only allowed to run the game on one computer at a time.
