Pitch Size.

Why am I only allowed to have a long and wide pitch, or a short and narrow one. My squad has lots of pace but no width, so I'd like to have a narrow pitch to prevent opponents exploiting that whilst keeping enough length to exploit balls over the top. Is there some kinda of league restrictions on this, or is it merely that the interface for selecting pitch side doesnt provide the appropriate options.

Its something that needs changing in the game IMO. AFAIK teams can change the size of their pitch whenever they want as long as its within the regulations sizes. Im sure some team change the size of the pitch depending on who they are playing.

I know for a fact teams have been know to move advertisting hordings closer to the pitch against Stoke to try and stop the super throw.

I think Barcelona’s pitch is larger than the regulations in-game.
