Should player personalities be more important?

Seems to be a bigger and bigger part of the modern game. Especially in the big leagues and at big clubs.

I think player personalities should be more controllable, more dynamic and more influential on player and teammate performances. And heavily linked to media interaction too.

Whilst I'm not sure about going down the "player x was out nightclubbing again" route that has been suggested before. I've seen very little impact on the team from having a disruptive personality in the team.

Well they are all there.. we just don't have a really good way of either seeing them or interacting with them.

Some people complain that they're already too important in the game. Personally I agree that it should be an even bigger factor, but Martyr is quite right that they need to be implemented in a clearer and more transparent way; if they appear to be totally random it gets very frustrating.
