seanwall Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 I love this game and after taking Millwall from the Championship to 2 time premier league champions, 1 time Champions League champions, 2 times FA cup winners in 10 years and a Chairman that says he will never leave the club i get a message saying Millwall in take over talks, Millwall director Peter Garston, is set to pay around £163 million for the club. Now the club dont need money (in game) and it is very unrealistic that Peter Garston will ever take over the club, the main reason being that he is a FAN on the Board IRL and is not paid for his role and/or does not invest in to the club, in position is that of a go to guy between fans and the board, now unless he as won the Euro Millions and invest in the stock market and made a smart return to be able to afford £163 Million. Surely the research would have been able to find out that he is a regular fan of Millwall and not an investee. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
