Game Intelligence.

In relation to the Steve Bruce and Man City incident. (Another thread present at this time)

I want to bring up my own experience. Took over Wrexham, 15 games in, 24th in BSP. Finished the season in 12th. I consider that a good achievement but the board and media said 'I' had a disappointing season only managing to finish 12th! I was on the verge of the sack! It's situations like this that the game lacks 'intelligence'. Why can't the game pick up on the fact 'when' I took over and how well I done in the circumstances considering I had no transfer budget or anything.

Can anybody else add somethin to this regarding the games lack of intelligence.

The AI is really showing its age in a lot of ways. It shows very little forethought or memory. In your example the boards reaction was probable arrived at by comparing the clubs reputation to its final league position and finding it disappointing. The AI needs to be able to predict where the club would have been 'relegated' had you not taken over and use that as the basis for evaluating your performance.
