How many leagues should I run for a 50 season game?

I have windows vista home premium laptop, intel core duo 2 processor @ 1.83ghz, 1790mb ram, ati radeon xpress 1250 graphics driver. Oh and I have installed through steam if that makes a difference?

pretty slowish system, I'd avoid running many, probably just the nation you intend to manage in, plus some lower leagues within that nation.

yea stick to the bare minimum you think you'll ever manage in, maybe a small database too

You have similar specs to my laptop (1.66GHz dual core with 3GB RAM).

I'm 20 years in with all English leagues loaded plus a large customised database with extra players loaded. It's starting to run a bit slow now but not too bad. I do, however, wish I'd gone for a medium database instead.

I'd suggest all the leagues from one nation plus a medium database if you want a game with a good pace for the next 50 years.

In my opinion, no more than 10-15 leagues from 3-4 countries with a medium database. That runs pretty slow on my laptop but if you can put up with the slow speed then you could try it.

You have better specs than me, I run England to BSP, large DB with all players from top division clubs in Europe & S. America. I expect to get to about 15 years before it gets too slow. I might look for a database for the league in Jersey. Or Guernsey, whichever has only 2 teams:lol:

I have never experienced that it starts to get slow, but then again, the last time I ran like 30 seasons was with Benfica in 00/01.
