[MAC] Lag when going to player search screen. Why?

my specs;

2011 MacBook Pro

Core i5 2.3GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, 320GB 5400RPM HDD

There is a 5 second lag when I click on "search>players"

32,543 players loaded in the game.

When I click on a player and click back, to go back to the list, there is another lag.

There is no lag elsewhere in the game, so why here?

Is my computer not good enough for 32,543 players to run smoothly? Or is this a Mac issue?

What affects loading the player search screen, processor, hard drive or RAM?
