SAFC Adam Posted April 20, 2011 Share Posted April 20, 2011 Not sure if I was meant to post in here or the Bugs forum but here goes. Switched my laptop on last night and loaded up FM which I am running through Steam. The steam message preparing to load up Football Manager 2011 shows as normal but then never appears to load. I opened up the Task Manager to see that fm.exe is in the processes tab running at 25CPU and between 9000 - 9.5000 k of memory being used. It had been like that for half an hour before I gave up. Tried again this morning multiple times but still the problem is happening. Any ideas on how to fix or why this is happening? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

SAFC Adam Posted April 20, 2011 Author Share Posted April 20, 2011 I seemed to have a virus that was causing the problem, finding and removing it has seemed to work. Not sure whether or not it was just affected the fm.exe or any other game ran through steam as I didnt check. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
