dr p wigwam Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 If I have a player who has announced his retirement in the summer, and I offer him a contract as coach now (February), will he start as coach when he retires from playing, or will he start as coach immeadiately? I'm asking cos the transfer date is greyed out, and as he's my best striker I dont want him to stop playing now. Equally, he's a good coach and dont want to risk him leaving...
