Work is winding down now for a few days and i have decided to bring the laptop into work for a game of FM11 tomorrow. Last time i tried to play at home when my broadband was offlline i could not play it. If im playing through steam (albeit with a disk) can i play without internet access? JamesPowell Posted April 19, 2011 Author Share Posted April 19, 2011 I have played the game this morning 'offline' from Steam. However i have now tried to play again after shutting down my PC and i am getting a message saying I could not connect to the Steam network. It says "It appears you are not currently connected to the internet or thatyour internet connection is not configured propley for steam" it then gives me three options "Retry Connections", Start in Offline Mode or Quit. I click in start up offline mode and i get a error message saying "Could not connect to Steam network" and tells me to visit steam website. Any idea?? I just want to play the game.
