Use the set of rules outlined in the LLM forum, turn off real players and turn on attribute masking, set yourself challenges: eg. win the CL with a full squad of players HG at club.

There are several things you can do some of which you may already. For instance:

A) Use Attribute Masking

B) Don't use the staff search, use the job centre

C) Don't use the player search, use your scouts

D) Don't download tactics, training schedules or scouting lists

E) Don't sign players you have read about on forums

F) Don't sign players you've signed in previous saves

G) Try a new country to manage in

You can always try to just sign players from the country of your team as well, i've just started a save on a lower league italian team and will only be signing Italian players.

Or try a save in Atl.Bilbao where you can only sign basque players.

Fictional players in England level 8 is pretty hard because the AI really gets physical attributes wrong and you end up with tons of players with 1 strength and low stamina. And the players have far less PA than the real players.

Increase skill values of AI managers.

Use FMRTE to do this.

Either try LLM as suggested above, or visit the CSE forum and check out some of the challenges in there. Some of which are very challenging.
