crouchaldinho Posted April 5, 2011 Share Posted April 5, 2011 Does anyone know what the exact criteria for a son is? I recently had a regen come up in my youth team with my surname. He didn't have me in his favourite personnel though. But when the youth intake come through, I did have a nickname set for my manager. Could this have an effect? I badly wanted him to be my son! I've read several different ideas of how you can identify a son but I'm not sure what the actual rules are. I always thought that, in order to be your son, the player had to have you in his favourite list. My surname is in the database and is, I suppose, fairly common (Hayes). I'm the St. Albans City manager and he was, apparently, born in Kingston-upon-Thames. It all sounds as if it is probably unlikely to be that missing son I have been looking for in all of my FM years.
