When do you bring on youngsters?

Hey guys i was just wondering when you bring on your youngsters, for example against swansea i was dominating and bought on a 15 year old CB, and they scored with 8 mins go ( not his fault) and made me nervous

I usually make changes after 60 mins, 70 if its close, but if Im 2 up I will bring on players in non important posisitons, Id only bring on a CB at that age if I was 3 up or after about 70-75 minutes

Yeah as AjaxNo1 says, I make changes at around 65 mins if 2-0 up, or 75 if only 1-0. I prefere starting with youngsters, then bringing them off and putting on a more experienced player as a replacement. I think this gets them used to the game better, and they are then more adept to my tactics.

As above, I usually start youngsters rather than bring them on. However, in my current game I am a big team, so usually start with an entire team of youngsters against the lower league or struggling top flight teams.

I'm down in the Blue Square North and I have to use quite a few of my youngsters from time to time whether I want to or not because of injuries, suspensions, etc. Actually, some of them have been a very pleasant surprise and are now forming part of my first team squad. It's another feature of FM that I think works really well, you search around loads and loads of youth players then all of a sudden you just hit on a real gem.

Yeah this Cb i mentioned is rated as a decent premier league CB, and this is in the EPL, though my 19 yo regen DM is fighting fletcher for a position in my line up

It always depends on who I am playing. It is rare I ever change cb's or gk.
