I'm managing FC United and have taken them from the Northern Prem League up to League One. My second season there and we're top of the league and looking good for promotion. Sounds good right? Well... last day of the transfer window in Jan 2019 and the chairman decides he's gonna accept offers for my star striker (25 goals scored this season) my best DM player and my best RB, the offers were pretty good which is fair enough but this has happened at least once every season and its getting annoying. The finances aren't even that bad which is the worse part. I wouldn't have minded but my team was pretty much built around these two guys and their replacements are not as good. martin23 Posted March 26, 2011 Share Posted March 26, 2011 well my chairmans taken an £8 million loan out against the club and not put a penny of it back in, just as i was about to clear all the outstanding debts aswell and its a 15 year loan!
