jackripper
im cyurrently managing a club and my star players just signed a new long term contract but a club from the league above have had a bid which is no where near the value of him accepted by my chairmen. Anyway of stopping this or shall i bite my tongue and accept wht ever happens?
Bracken
You can try and offer him another new contract, or offering him out to clubs for a fee that you believe to be acceptable and you might get a higher bid. Other than that I'm not sure there's much you can do.
jxd
I think it's might be squad status related, I've never seen the chairman accept bid for rotation or above players, but I don't play in lower leagues. This trick used to work in FM2010, offer him to clubs for nothing (make sure transfer listed is unchecked), accept all bids, and hope the player accept a contract from another club, and cancel the deal.
