Declan Barry
The player predictor utilities are two spreadsheets that calculate what your players' stats may look like at a selected age. Also included in the file is an added bonus of a positional compatibility spreadsheet. Please note these are intended to be a prediction not an exact match. For more information please post or read the "read me" file found after extraction. Age stats predictor You input your players' stats and his age/his desired age of his stats and it will calculate the max stat value (top end the player could reach) and the stats he is most likely to achieve through growth. Peak predictor Like above but instead of inputting the age it predicts the age at 30 years old - the most likely to be the players best years. Please note players peak at different ages though. Position compatibility - bonus: Want to know if your DL plays well at AM? Well this selects the best few stats for each prediction and gives you an accurate stat number as to how well he will play there. A handy tool if you have lots of injuries or a low budget. ragingbull
Wow! Nice one Dec! Very creative and useful. Thanks.
Declan Barry
No problem. I got a few people to test it and they look very realistic to me (no player shooting from 6 to 20 in 1 year). Let me know what you think once you try it and thanks for the nice feedback.
ragingbull
(Update ) Wow! I hope it will predict my Nasri regen correct. Potentially 12 attributes at 20! <3 It's really good though. Nice work.
Declan Barry
I hope it is correct too . Thanks .
xSEARLEYx
WHAT! Its just predicted my Striker to be the next Torres! Shame he hasn't scored in 5 games for my team
Declan Barry
It goes on stats, if he is young then maybe he is not ready to play all the time and if he doesn't this could be a reason too.
GJK
Thanks! It's really good, but how do you know if my player is going to be the regen of Torres, Villa, Nasri... etc?
Declan Barry
Compare the stats of the two players such as a striker with 17 pace, 20 stamina and 20 shooting is very similar to Torres. Or you can find if it is them with this very good guide by Patrick - Click.
Ceirdiff
Just tried it on one of my 19 year olds. Next season all his stats should go up by at least 5... Not predicted to rise after that. At least his stats are almost all 20 by then.
Declan Barry
That seems wierd. I will try and find the bug. Edit: Epic fail, I forgot to add a field so it was doing the wrong calculation meaning stats were 30 year olds.
Declan Barry
Hello guys, Please redownload this as v1.5 has now fixed the predicted stats as it was constant no matter about age due to a missing cell (Age stats predictor). The files should now be working properly and if you have any feedback please post.
ragingbull
A quick suggestion Dec, maybe use conditional formatting to make the stats look like it would on the game. e.g. above 15 are Green, below 14 Blue and below 10 Red. It'll also make it look nicer. Anyway, great work.
Declan Barry
I was thinking about that mate. May investigate into it but decided it wasn't an issue that would hold releasing versions v1 etc..
goodies
Thanks for the update, it's a great job that you have done ! I'm a non native english speaker and I've got a translation question. Inside the file Peak Predictor.xls, what does the cell "Average Growth per year" stands for and how do I use this field ?
Declan Barry
It means how many grow per year. I hope you can understand that, you don't really need it but it shows you how many he grows by a year.
goodies
It means how many grow per year. I hope you can understand that, you don't really need it but it shows you how many he grows by a year. So, I don't have to change this field ?
Declan Barry
No it is automatically calculated based on stats.

Ceirdiff
I'll be honest, it has pretty much no complex algorithms, I don't believe it is that accurate, the majority of stats just increase the same amount. Using a linear algorithm is probably wrong as well. All of my decent players are told to have mostly 20s by the time their 30. I'd imagine the game has several clever factors which calculate increases that that program doesn't even scrape.
Declan Barry
It isn't complex but it calculates a rough growth based on several stats and then calculating how much will grow each year. It is never going to be perfect but it is a good guide and I have factored in the change of aggression, creativity and leadership. Please be my guest to name a few pointers in improving it.
