As the thread "what you do in between games?" I was thinking whilst I am watching other matches I was thinking why don't we have a say why we are at another match. It says we are watching the matches without a reason why not say"I was watching (player's name) and he's good enough to sign for me"?.

If you have the player on your shortlist it will come up that you were at the game to watch whatevertheirnameis.

All you have to do is enquire about the player then go to the match.

Keep in mind also that, a lot of the time when they show someone in the stands on a televised game, the commentators will speculate why he's there (to scout the opposition ahead of an upcoming match, has been linked with a player and is running the rule over them, etc) but it is pretty rare that the manager himself would subsequently reveal he was at the game to watch x player, let alone announce an interest in buying that player. At best he would say he was looking at a player, without getting into the specifics of which one.
