slipknot67 Posted March 17, 2011 Share Posted March 17, 2011 As far as I know it increases the range of places your youth intake can be gained from and being able to bring in youngsters from a wider area should in turn give your club a better chance of finding the next big potential player before he gets snapped up by another club's academy. swisso Posted March 17, 2011 Share Posted March 17, 2011 Yes, although don't expect it to work miracles, you're not going to suddenly see an intake of world-class players, even with the best Facilities, Academy and Recruitment Network I haven't observed any good prospects come through Barcelona's Academy in 3 seasons in my game, despite their Academy and Recruitment Network being the best. phnompenhandy Posted March 18, 2011 Share Posted March 18, 2011 I've just started a new 11.3 save in lower league England, and I notice that Barce have a bunch of 14 and 15 years old and one 11 year old wonderkid! Guess it must be due to nik33's real-life 'young stars' add-on I installed. I've put them on my shortlist just out of curiosity to see how they get on.
