domestic player bias

Recommended Posts

Exactly what it says on the tin.

If you are managing Italy and none of the players play in Italy for the national squad - then then you are Biased against all players in Italy being called up for duty.

If all your players play in Italy then you are not biased.

If you want to get it higher, call up more players playing in Italy.

Same goes for the club level. If you are managing in Spain and sign Ivory Coast and French players, then you are biased against domestic players. If you want to raise this value then sign more players that are Spanish.

It's got nothing to do with the national squad :/

Maybe you've just worded that incorrectly.

Simply enough, domestic players are players that are of the nationality of the country you are managing in.

eg. If you are Wigan, and want a high domestic player bias, you would have a squad with the majority of English players

If you are Inter Milan, it would be Italian players.

To get a better domestic player rating, you have to sign more players of the nationality of the teams nation you play in :)
