Technical question!

Recommended Posts

Intel is likely the CPU (Processor) manufacturer, but they also design graphics processors too, but so do ATI and NVidia.

You need the correct graphic drivers for your graphics processor on your laptop, is the graphics processor made by Intel, ATI or NVidia? It should be somewhere in the laptop manual/booklet or maybe on a website if you can google it.

If you let us know the laptop manufacturer and model, you might get more help :)

I've tried that so many times, I select the correct option and it keeps saying "driver not valid for this computer". Don't know why!

Try the Packard Bell website then as FrazT suggested > http://www.packardbell.co.uk/pb/en/GB/content/download

Most of the downloads seem out of date though, in that case, download CPU-Z > http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.57-setup-en.exe

CPU-Z is a small program which will display detailed information about your hardware. Once installed click on the Graphics tab like on this image > http://www.cpuid.com/medias/images/en/softwares-cpuz.jpg

You should be able to see the graphics chipset name and then find it on the Intel website to download the proper drivers

Cheers for the info! I think I've come to the conclusion that my driver is infact upto date, being as that I can't find a validate updated version for it. Plus the fact theres quites a few other complaints regarding the 2d match engine from other people on this forum.

I'm not going to download everything under the sun to no avail only to find out it is infact something wrong with the patches that's making the game run slowly. I'd like to hear from someone from the SI team to see what the problem may be, because at the moment, I've paid money for a game that I can't play in it's fullest, only the bug ridden 11.0 version.
