corney888
So yeah, is there something I can do that makes this smoother? It's only like every 1/3 games. Clear something, i dunno. It's severely effecting me being able to understand what's happening in the games though.
Cougar2010
Make sure your drivers are up to date. If you still have a problem try running less programs in the background or lower the graphical settings.
DamianJMcGrath
Happening with me too. Didnt notice it in 11.

sperlz
same here mate, never happened before until 11.3. It seems to freeze as well sometimes and you have to wait 5 seconds for it to continue
DamianJMcGrath
Yeah it freezes like they're running on the spot. It's obviously a change they've made in 11.3, although just to add in a theory, my Google Chrome browser has been having problems recently with a Java and Flash update, so maybe it's all connected? Cougar2010
The game freezes when its processing and its something I experience from time to time, usually when another program has started running using up processing power.
Champion
Did you try to lower graphics detail ?
Fiend
It can't be a hardware/software (drivers/java/etc.) problem, since I can play FM10 very smoothly (and their system requirements are the same). Must be some "improvement" FM11 had in ME.
DamianJMcGrath
I get it at the lowest graphical 3D setting, even though FM has my 3D performance set as 5 stars. I purposely turn off the anti virus and any other software and make sure nothing's running or updating. I purposely open the Task Manager and close everything and make sure nothing's pre-loaded by turning everything off in the MSCONFIG --> Load at startup list. When it freezes, I task manager to see if another program is running and it's not. FM 2006 and 2007 run fine, as did 11.2 on this game. I think it must be a 11.3 "improvement". My graphics card is Nvidia GT 435M on my Dell XPS 17 laptop. (L701). I've updated all the drivers through the Windows Update website, Nvidia's and Dell's website. Flash, Java and DirectX are all up to date and all the other games (most far more graphical) play fine at a high frame rate with no problems, freezes or slow-downs. It is absolutely something to do with the 3D screen, and I think it's related to the issue I also get where it says FM is not responding and it crashes right before the match starts. This happens randomly, maybe once every 10 games or so.
