Passing and Defending

In FM2011 the times of passing during an average match seems to be obviously much less than FM2010 and much more less than in real life match. I don't know what is the reason for this. Irl according to official statistics there would be approximately more than 400 passes made for a team during a 90-minute match. But in FM, a match is simulated in 75 minutes if I don't get it wrong. And now I feel maybe it's because a match time simulated in FM2011 is even less than 75 minutes if you guys know what I'm saying. And why is game simulated with 15-20 minutes short of time? I think it might (it's only my guess) be for the generally poor defending in the ME. So for a result of realistic statistics of CCC and goals scored, the time has to be cut shorter. Correct me and I apologize if I'm wrong. And I reckon SI has been doing great jobs and I can feel the obvious improvement and delicacy in the game.
