Absolutely spot on. Perhaps some suitable questions for potential candidates who successfully negotiate Part I could involve :-

1. In a private conversation with your manager you are asked to attempt to alter your footballing habits slightly. How many times and different ways do you think you can completely refuse to do this and comply with a simple request from someone who is essentially your boss?

2. It is put to you that since you are a professional footballer, and due to the fact you are not sufficiently capable to merit a place in your current club's starting 11, that it might be a good idea for you to go out on loan to another club in order to aid your development and justify your wage. How many inventive and novel ways can you think of to completely ignore and deny this request, while still happily banking your salary and basically refusing to do your job?

3. 6 months ago you signed a rather lucrative contract with your current club after they plucked you from the complete obscurity of earning £5 per week in the Senagalese 3rd Division. Grimsby Town have just made a bid for your services, offering less than half of what you were bought for not six months ago. Your current club has had the temerity to turn the offer down, how do you go about explaining to your agent that in light of these developments you now feel that you merit a new and improved contract paying you at least twice your current salary? Oh, and how long exactly do you feel is a sufficient period for you to go off in a sulk when your perfectly reasonable requests are denied?

Oh aye, almost forgot :- remember to ask them if they understand the correct corner kick defensive procedure i.e. running away from the man you're supposed to be marking, ensuring that you have a full and un-obstructed view of him heading unchallenged into the back of the net from the 100 square yards of empty space you ran off to occupy, since it was obviously posing a more serious threat from set pieces than the chap your manager thought you ought to be marking.
