Choppy 2D Match Engine 20 minutes in....

Strange problem this, but when I start a game the Match Engine is fantastically smooth to begin with, then but for some reason becomes choppy and laggy. My system is more than capable of running it fine, [specs at end of post], all my drivers are up to date and I've had no problems with any other version of the game.

Are there any particular settings or displays that are causing this? 3D cameras have been disabled. Maybe it's my Widescreen that's causing it, altho that'd wouldn't explain why it's fine to begin with. There aren't any other demanding applications running in the background either.

I have a pc like yours and it's very stuttering in the 3d in some matches, I can fix it doing this:

Once the match started, open the task manager and find the fm.exe process,>right click and select priority "High". Wait a few seconds and turn de priority back to normal.
