Tru_sparky
Im into the 2014/15 season with man utd and my general rule for dealing with players who get sent off (straight red) is they get a a week fine, this I'm sure must happen in the real world as it does in sunday leagues across the uk. On the game I had a player who was sent off in the champions league which I fined a weeks wages and in the next league game got sent off again unusual but I fined him again and the player was unhappy and remained unhappy for 2 years and refused to talk or sign a new contract. help guys what can I do and is this realistic. Kinser
I only issue a warning on the first offense. Not doing anything will make players unhappy about the disipline of the team.
jxd
Just warn them, I've never seen players becoming unhappy over a warning.
ManUTactician247
I issue a warning for first red of the season, 2nd red gets a 1 week fine and the 3rd red gets a 2 week fine and so do any others. I've had no problems.
telV7
I have always gone, Two yellow cards and sent off = warning Cynical foul straight red 1st offence = warning Cynical foul straight red 2nd offence = fine 1wks wages Violent conduct 1st offence = warning Violent conduct 2nd offence = 1 wks wages, drop to reserves Also seems to go ok, no major dramas
Administrators Neil Brock Posted March 8, 2011 Administrators Share Posted March 8, 2011 Some players are just unprofessional and in their own eyes can do no wrong. You fine them and they disagree with it, or course they're going to be unhappy, they may well hate you as a manager. That's the kind of balancing act you have to get right - if they don't follow your rules ship 'em out!
