TomHAVFC Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 So I bought FM a few days ago and installed it and all and my mate sent me his save game file. Yet when I try to load it it starts fine but freezes after a little bit. Any way to sort this? I've uninstalled and then re-installed it and still no joy. Wiitastic Posted March 4, 2011 Share Posted March 4, 2011 does it also depend what patch you have ? I don't know if it does or not, just thought I would throw it out there. You may also have too many programs running at the same time of loading up the saved game which in effect prolongs the loading of the saved game file. It's best to close everything down except for FM11 of course, once the game loads, then restart the other applications again which you had running previously Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Will just start a new game, however, I just downloaded the 11.2.1 patch and when it's updating it gets to file 146 and says "a sharing violation occurred while accessing C:\Program Files (x86)\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2011\data\skins.fmf Literally have no idea what to do?
