A quick question about loans.........

The teams managed by the computer can put loan bids in for my players and tell me how they intend to use the player but I've always wondered how I do the same as I can't seem to find the option of telling the team I want to loan from what plans I have for the player. I kind of assumed that as I couldn't find the option the team you want to loan from guessed the intended status due to the wages % paid, which would be stupid as obviously I want to get away with playing as less as possible in terms of wages and loan fee.

Am I missing something? (probably obvious too!).
