Recommended Posts

Quick question, just read the article yesterday in newspaper Palermo sacked Delio Rossi. if you got fired or sacked from Serie A. you cannot manage any other team in Serie A in one season right? you have to wait till next season. i never manage any italian team yet. is this rule applied in FM? anyone?

Might be wrong but I think you can work again with another club it's just alot of clubs don't really sack the managers. They remove them but they are still kinda under contract at the clubs. Like gardening leave.

For example Man City had to wait for Mancini to finalise the termination of his contract with Inter even though Mourinho had been in charge of Inter for more then a year. And it's why some managers have been sacked only to be rehired a short time later without managing inbetween. Like Colantuono at Palermo and Marino at Udinese.

Absolutely not true ;) You CAN manager any other team in Serie A if you are sacked.

Like skyblue said, it happens often that they sack a manager but they're still under contract. Then they wait 'till the contract ends or mutually end the contract.
