Bradford City- The Road back to the Premiership

The whole goal of this career is to take the mighty Bantams back to the Premiership. Along the way I aim to collect as many cup/league titles as possible.

Season One

Final Position: 1st (League Two)

Awards: L1, MOTM x3, FA Cup, League Cup & JPT.

Key Signings: Andy Drury & Shaun Harrad

Thoughts: Fantastic first season, remaining unbeaten in all competitions all season.

Season Two

Final Position: 1st (League One)

Awards: L1, MOTM x1, Community Shield & JPT.

Key Signing: Owain fon Williams

Thoughts: Not as good as last season but still a great season. Unfortunatley my unbeaten streak ended in the 1st Round of the league cup with a 2-0 loss to Leeds

Season Three

Final Position: 6th (Championship)

Awards: MOTM x1 POTM x2

Key Signings: Dimitar Berbatov & Romelu Lukaku

Thoughts: Not a bad start to the season, currently on a decent run. Some decent signings, probably one too many signings. Finished 6th and beat Bristol City 3-1 agg in the play-off semis but lost to Wolves 4-0 in the final

Season Four (August)

Final Position: N/A Currently 2nd (Championship)

Awards: N/A

Signings: Carlos Tevez, Jermaine Beckford, Branislav Ivanovic, Gary Cahil & Artur Boruc

Thoughts: Some decent signings this season. With a very strong squad we could be seen as title contenders.

Thoughts? Comments?

Very nice capture of Tevez! Maybe add a little bit of detail about transfer fees? I'm particularly interested in the Tevez info, cos I tried to get him at Burnley in my 4th season but he wouldn't come because I couldn't meet his demands, although I won the CL the season before and obviously I had been in the EPL for 3 seasons longer than you have, but I didn't have that much silverware and had only gained 1 promotion so maybe I wasn't good enough for him lol

Tevez wasn't at a club in my 4th season. Man City were abit wierd towards him giving him 31 games in 3 seasons :/ didnt even get a game the season before I got him :O

@Anderson 8: A magician never reveals his secrets ;) I used a mixture of formations over the years including 4-4-2, 4-5-1 and 4-3-3... Also the key for the first season was a Target Man and a Poacher up front :)

Meh, if you want to impress me, make it to the top of the Prem and Europe with Chelmsford city or another hapless BSP club.

I took Cheltenham from the BSP to mid-table Prem in 5 seasons (back-to-back-to-back-to-back promotions). Haven't started my 2nd prem season yet.

Once I am done with Bradford, your on! ;)

LOSC Lille's Eden Hazard has agreed terms with Bradford City

It is reported that Hazard has signed a pre contract worth over £70,000 a week on a 5 year deal. The Bradford board agreed to fund the players wages as they felt that Hazard would become an important part of the team as Bradford fight their way back to glory. Hazard will break the Bradford City record for the highest earning player on a weekly wage. However, manager Conor has admitted that some of the current playing staff may have to take a reasonable wage drop and has confirmed that the likes of Jermaine Beckford, Dimitar Berbatov, Artur Boruc, Branislav Ivanovic, Nathan Doyle, Niko Savolainen and Jack Cork will be the most likely candidates to be released in the summer. Jack Cork being the most suprising. Cork has just signed for the Bantams from Chelsea for a deal worth £9.75m in August, but has found it hard to break into decent form at Valley Parade with the likes of James Briggs and Cristiano Antoniolli shining in midfield.

The transfer of Hazard will be completed during the first transfer window of the next season after the expiry of the player's current contract.
