FM11 11.2 - Not building up managerial experience in a foreign league?

My managerial profile has English as 100% experience and France set at 50%.

I took the manager's job at Cesena(Italian Serie B) and have been there for nearly 10 months and have won promotion to Serie A, but my experience of the Italian league has not been updated - the Italian league is not even showing up in my profile. Is this a bug?

Is anyone else having this problem or have I not been at Cesena long enough?

Maybe wait til the new season starts and see what happens? I reckon its only completed seasons in the nation that counts, or days in nation or something like that.

Yeah I'd say wait a little bit, you've only been there 12 months. But I can see why you should have some experience there with your promotion.

Thanks for the replies. I've got 6 games left in the season so will see what happens after then. Its strange that I'd need to wait until the end of a season before beginning to pick up experience, but I'll see.

It seems to have sorted itself out. Immediately after completing the last league game of the season, my profile now shows that I have experience in Italy(approx 30%). Still seems strange that you need to wait until the end of a season to gain knowledge, as I would have thought you build knoweldge up gradually over the course of a season?

I would expect that behind the scenes your knowledge of the country was increasing, but the graphical display of that knowledge doesn't update often enough.
