longdon
For example, you're playing against a team with a clumsy defender; by man marking that defender with one of your strikers, does that then actually mark the player, or then am I pinning him down ready to pounce on a mistake? Mr_Demus
I think you should close him down instead, as that will put more pressure on him, and force him to make mistakes
MelbVictory
I play them onto weaker sides. In 10 I used o do that to keepers with lower kicking, ball control etc.
Novox
Man marking a defender with a striker is basically asking the striker to play off the back of that cb. If you are playing with a pacey CF, you can ask him to man mark the slower of the two CB so that he can take advantage of it and get to the ball first. The downside is the fact that he will always be near that CB and passes that go a bit off will be easily caught by the other CB.
