Patch (any patch) question

Just had a thought about FM patches. When they're being made, transfers being done and what not are player stats changed?

For example, if a Premiership team buys a player from the lower leagues, is the potential of that player changed?

Another question.

How many patch threads have been made now since the Patch Speculation thread was closed? How many patch threads were made while the Patch Speculation thread was open? That thread may have only been going one way but at least the forum was a much better place for the week that it was open.

The research team review all player stats as part of the December / January review and this forms part of the database issued with a post January patch, if there is one.

A player transfer to a higher level club may be indicative of a need to revisit the player CA / PA, but doesn't necessarily mean the player will automatically be awarded a higher rating. Of the abilities the PA is most likely to change rather than CA as he has yet to prove himself at the higher level.

Take Charlie Austin, his ability stats and CA was improved anyway before his move to Burnley, however his Burnley move didn't require any further improvement just because he moved into the Championship.

Yea, pretty sure player attributes will be updated.

In past patches the training has remained untouched from the retail copy. Is this the case with patch 11.3, as I have done an updated set of schedules and instructions and there is no point in releasing them if something has changed and they need further testing?
