Nominative Determinism

Nominative determinism refers to the theory that a person's name is given an influential role in reflecting key attributes of his job, profession, or general life. It was a commonly held philosophy in the ancient world. <wikipedia>

I always enjoy footballing examples of this, such as Arsene Wenger managing Arsenal, Wolfgang Wolf managing Wolfsburg, Robbie Savage being aggressive, etc. I find it annoying that Dennis Wise is an idiot, and strongly believe that Paul Hart will one day manage Hearts.

I just found a couple of good ones in 2015 of my Everton save.

"Carlisle sack Carlisle" I had not realised, but Clarke Carlisle had been managing Carlisle United (the job he was made for).

"Rangers sign Ranger" The Newcastle striker Nile Ranger was on my shortlist, so I just got the news in my inbox of his transfer to Glasgow Rangers.

What similar examples of unintentional wordplay have others come across that they enjoyed?
