ReggaeBwoy
I was watching Watfird U18 play irl against another premiership opposition and they were really impressive so i checked them out on Football Manager but it is quite confsing as irl Watford youth play games against premiership academy teams and some championship such as Watford vs Chelsea but in the game the youth play really below par teams such as Chesterfield, Lincoln and when I see there fixtures they are not scheduled to play Arsenal or Chelsea who they do irl. Can someone explain to me why this is because if there not playing top youth teams in the game players will not reach their full potential. Thanks in advance btw, any misunderstandings I am happy to answer to
Nottingham Forest
In FM it's done in regions. Watford must be in a more northen league. That's how I think it is anyway.
ReggaeBwoy
irl they play with teams in London such as Fulham, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal but they play teams in divisions much lower. I really do don't get this and then I checked 1 of chelsea youth fixtures irl and compared it in FM. In FM Chelsea play teams like Wycombe and Hayes and Yeading, which they do not do irl. explanation anyone.....
Nottingham Forest
Yeah, in FM they play against teams in their region. Forest play Derby and Leicester but in real life they have played Boro etc.
