Mr_Pink
Hi there, first of all please excuse my poor english! I play the game with version 11.1 so if this problem i have is fixed with version 11.2 i install the patch, if not i will just wait for 11.3. I am managing Millwall in english leauge 2 and like most clubs in lower divisions its hard make money without selling young talented players to bigger clubs. Last year i sold James Charlton to Stoke for 500.000 pound and when they sell him i will get 35% of that money. This is a key feature as a low leauge manager and the only way to make som "real" money. Here is the problem as it seems like the computer have trouble with basic math. Young talented James Charlton are sold from Stoke to Nottingham the following season for 1,5 million. From this i get 110 thousand. WHAT???? Is this fixed in 11.2 or am i doing something wrong here? Finally i will add that i really enjoy the game for the first time since FM2007.
pezza1
I think you may have made the sell on clause as a percentage of the PROFIT that the selling club made, not the amount of money they sold him for. does that make sense?
just_smoke_it
you got a percentage over the profit not over the overall sale!hope it helps
her0n
you got a percentage over the profit not over the overall sale!hope it helps And how is 35% of (1.5M - 0.5M) equal to 0.11M ??? No. I think the transfer includes some future payments (monthly installments or appearance fees). Once they are done, you'll get the rest of your money. What you received is just the percentage of the initial fee.
