tryan
I am in my second season with Port Vale. I was promoted in the first season (thanks to Mr Houghs winger tactic) and while halfway through the second season, the club was taken over by the Port Vale Supporters' Trust in conjunction with a local businessman. I was promptly informed that no additional funds will be provided which isn't a problem since I have the players that I want. My question however is what should I be expecting now that the Supporters' Trust is in charge? I would assume that since they do not represent any commercial interests, I should have a lot of leeway to develop the club moving forward. Any thoughts or experiences? heathxxx
Moved to GD from Tactics & Training. Not a particularly a tactical question, so probably better answered in a broader and more "general" area of the forums.
dontask
the answer is probably not a lot will happen. they dont have funds most of the time to put into the club so you dont really feel any benefit
tryan
Thanks! Once the supporters' trust steps in, is there a possibility of further takeovers down the road or is this it.
dontask
yes there is a chance of other takeovers in the future but unless you get a tycoon then you wont feel it makes much difference
