Do you carry around ur Assistant to ur clubs?

This has started ti increase in the wrold of football. Managers bring in assistant manager whom they have worked with for a long time, like capello bought his men. So did avram grant i think, etc.

Do any of you do this?

If so, how can u make ur assistant move to ur new club? Simply signing him?

ive dun it afew times mainly with coaches though, and only ones that leave the club after i leave you clearly know they like working with you

I try to do it but sometimes it is too expensive to sign them from your old club. Also sometimes I find that they outgrow their position and end up managing.

Sometimes it's to expensive to fire the coaches that are already at your new team to be allowed to bring in your old favorites.

Not me. I constantly change my backroom staff, even if its just for 1 extra attribute point. I had one long term game where I signed a young coach in his early thirties, promoted him to Ass Man, and he eventually retired... but I'm 100% certain thats the longest I've ever had a single staf member.

I tend to career game, so no not really. Although my last game had the strange occurance of Barcelona pinching my assman from Vit Setubal, then a couple of years later I got offered the Barca job. So I ended up following him

I was once in the process of getting a new assman for Bayern when i was offered the Man Utd job, went into the transfer centre and cancelled the contract offer, took him to Utd as a coach and then promoted from within.

Not really, but I generally try to make all the staff Turkish, like me.

Yes, its a great feature, as most of the coaches are over paid pieces of...... work.

I have one or two coaches I come back to often. The retired Paulo Maldini always gets a job with me, as do Ecwin Boekamp, Cornleius Jol and a Brazillian who's name escapes me.

I've had where I've left a club and other staff members have left hoping that I'll appoint them.

I've had my current ass man Asle Andersen at 3 clubs now. He keeps resigning when I do, so I keep rewarding his loyalty to me by re-employing him.

I try to keep especially my assistent close to me during the game. It comes in handy when I sit out my FA suspension in my skybox :-)

I noticed that attacking assistents almost always win when I don't get manage a match. And that to me is worth the 120.000 when I sign him from my old club.

I started out with Fransisco Ramirez, from Mexico, who retired with me as a coach, after serving me for a total of 8 years (not contiguous though). And now I'm with Bernd Hollerbach, who is retiring next season, and has been working with me for almost 12 years (4 as a scout and 8 as assistent).

I like to think that they come to know me and my style of playing, and try to coach and train players that way. But that is just a romantic thought.....:-)

Good to know. I always just tried to fire them and the board refused.

I will normally take staff with me if they have resigned form there post, at my previous club, due to me leaving. But I like to take my assistant with me if i feel they did well.

Well I always like to have the best backroom staff so if there isnt another who is better or equal then I guess I will have to bring them with me to the new club.

I take my assistant, goalkeeping caoch, first team coaches and my scouts everywhere with me.

If my Ass Man quits when i get sacked/leave then i'll snap him up for being a good egg.
