Nani17legend Posted February 10, 2011 Share Posted February 10, 2011 I'm managing England in the 2014 WC and named Frank Lampard in the squad despite that the fact he was without a club at the time and had planned to retire during the tournament (this had happened before with Beckham retiring and he just delayed it). Chelsea were without a manager at the time so Lampard was obviously a prime candidate for the job, however i was slightly peeved when he decided to leave my world cup squad after only the group stage in which he had come on as a sub in all games. Surely he could have just delayed joining Chelsea until the end of the World Cup instead of leaving me a man down. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
