Pacman Jones Posted February 8, 2011 Share Posted February 8, 2011 Hey all, I am in my fifth season of FM11 with Boston Utd whom I have managed to get promoted up to League 2 last season. After a cracking start and settling down in 3rd place with 11 games gone, Portsmouth sack there manager and approach me. Now at Boston, they give me around 14k a week wage budget but Portsmouth have offered me 160k a week wage. (Portsmouth are in L2 also) I was interested in the job but thought of trying to get the contract to start at the end of the season. It would not allow me to select it.... Anyways, questions are why was this not selectable at this time? (It was November) And has anyone ever managed to secure a contract that starts at the end of the season with a different club? I mean if I was running a club I guess I would want the manager to start immediately. Shame the end of the season option wasn't available. Anyone managed to secure an end of season option?
