Erith22
One thing I have noticed for several seasons of FM is that penalties in the box (except for professional foul situations) tend to be completely random. You are just as likely to see a penalty called on a tackle where the player is at the very side-edge of the box moving away from the goal as you are someone right in the middle of the box trying a shot/header at the goal. In my experience watching football it seems to me that refs will generally avoid calling penalties in situations where the fouled player has little or no chance of influencing the match from the position they are in. I would like to see the ME take this into account, and have fewer completely inconsequential penalties and more when the attacker is taken down right in the middle of the box.
